During a celebratory dinner on June 6, the Ellenville Central School District (ECSD) honored this year’s tenure recipients and retirees, as well as support-related personnel who have earned permanent appointments.
The event was held in the Ellenville Senior High School cafeteria and was hosted by ECSD Superintendent Lisa Wiles and Board of Education President Philip Mattracion.
“We have been doing this ceremony for over twenty years now,” said Wiles. “It is a great tradition.”
The following teachers and administrators earned tenure during the 2022-2023 school year: Ashley Aliano, Marc Desarme, Mandi Dickman, Lindsay Quiroz, Cierra Regan, Nowell VanBenschoten, and Kelly White.
The District also paid tribute to its retiring staff members, many of whom had been working in Ellenville for decades. Among those being honored were Stephanie Craft, Hillary Ramming, Mercedes Linhart, and Annette Steele.
Employees who now have permanent appointments include Carol Avery, Justine Avery, Susan Burns, Corrine Dombroski, Bridgett Gonzalez, Dante Langley, Briana Mangram, Nastassja Roldan Montes, Emily Nolan, Maryuri Ospina, Ana Velasquez, and Amanda Wood.
