Exciting news for Ellenville families! The Ellenville Central School District will be offering TWO full-day Pre-Kindergarten classes for the 2024-2025 school year! There will be 36 spots available. To qualify, your child must be a District resident and be turning four years old by December 1, 2024.
Participation will be determined through a random lottery process. Parents/guardians must submit a lottery application by 4 PM on Friday, March 8. Applications can be printed and returned to the District Office, or completed online here: bit.ly/42w1xCV. A PDF can be found here: https://5il.co/2ekmq
The lottery drawing will be held on Tuesday, March 12, with acceptance letters being mailed home to families of selected students no later than March 22. (You will also receive a letter via mail if your child is not selected and placed on a waiting list.)
All selected children will be required to register with the District no later than April 12, 2024. They must also attend one mandatory screening on May 22, May 29, or June 3.
