SRO Danielle Rodriguez

Ellenville Junior/Senior High School welcomes Danielle Rodriguez, who joins us following Officer Ulysses Young's retirement. With a background that began in nursing, Officer Rodriguez found her true calling in law enforcement—specifically, her dream of becoming a School Resource Officer where she could advocate for students.

Officer Rodriguez brings her passion for helping others both to our school and the broader community, where she actively supports initiatives like Toys for Tots. Her top priority is being mindful of students' unique needs, and she wants everyone to know her office door is always open.

When she's not serving our school community, Officer Rodriguez stays active through sports. A former college volleyball and basketball player, she now coaches a traveling Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball team and enjoys shooting hoops with students when time permits!

"I'm excited to wake up every day and do what I love," says Rodriguez. "I'm here for our students, and they can always come to me."
