It was a gorgeous day for Ellenville Elementary to unite on the school field for the annual Big Apple Crunch on October 26. Students, teachers, and a few familiar-looking “apples” enjoyed biting into the locally donated fruit in celebration of the goodness of New York. Thank you to the Ellenville PBA, Whitsons Culinary Group, Saunderskill Farms, and Kelder’s Farm for the crunchy treats! Sponsored by the FarmOn! Foundation and New York State farmers, this yearly event promotes local support, good nutrition, and a healthy lifestyle. How 'bout them apples?
