On September 27, Ellenville Elementary School hosted a special “Driving Ellenville” event, where our students got up close with the captivating vehicles that keep our community running. From fire trucks to street sweepers, plows to bucket trucks, and more, our young learners met the leaders who protect, defend, serve, and drive Ellenville.
The pros were on hand to demonstrate their vehicles' inner workings and answer questions. They might have even inspired some future drivers!
Best of all? Our students got to sit in the driver's seat and feel what it's like to serve the community from behind the wheel.
