Our Elementary School students enjoyed a special musical journey on October 18 when professional pianist Soheil Nasseri visited, marking his second appearance in our District after performing here last spring.
Nasseri introduced students to compositional styles ranging from Mozart to Bernstein. He shared that his love for music stems from being a perpetual student, always learning. While sitting attentively, students couldn't help but bop to the lively rhythms of West Side Story's "I Want to Live in America!"
The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where Nasseri fielded questions from our curious students. This engaging experience cultivated our students' appreciation for music and sparked their curiosity. We're grateful to Mr. Nasseri for sharing his talent and knowledge with our Ellenville community!
