Congratulations to Ellenville Elementary School teacher Jennifer Bonitz, who successfully secured a 2024 Hess Toy Truck STEM Kit for her Grade 5 class! Her students are already putting these wheeled educational tools to great use, conducting hands-on STEM experiments to learn about ramps and forces.
The STEM kit includes 12 Hess Fire Trucks (each with a car and motorcycle) and opens opportunities for students to learn and model basic fire science and safety, test different power systems, and measure ladder angles and reach.
We're proud to see yet another fun, interactive way our teachers are bringing STEM strategies straight to our students!
