Students involved in Ellenville's mentorship program are actively making more memories! During a recent event for the program, which pairs Grade 6 students from the Elementary School with graduating seniors from the Jr/Sr High School, the group took over the elementary gym for an open gym day.
This unstructured session with open access to scooters gave seniors the chance to be “kids” again and younger students the ability to play alongside the mentors they look up to!
With only one rule—have fun—the students built relationships through shared activities, strengthening the connections that make this mentorship program strong.
