Students in Margo Marusek's Music class at Ellenville Junior/Senior High School recently turned their passions into powerful learning experiences! Marusek tasked her class, which contains students in Grades 9-12, to research their favorite artists' backgrounds, inspirations, and discographies, creating engaging multimedia presentations for their classmates.
Each presentation featured music samples, introducing everyone—including Marusek—to exciting new artists and genres!
This creative assignment allowed students to express their musical interests while developing essential research and public speaking skills, hitting all the right notes.
