Congratulations to our 2024 President's Challenge Scholarship recipients! On December 3, we celebrated five Ellenville students, selected in Grade 8, who will receive mentoring, college prep support, and tuition-free education at SUNY Ulster upon graduation.

These future college students have already toured SUNY Ulster's Stone Ridge campus and can even earn college credits through SUNY Ulster Collegian courses while in high school. Junior High School counselor and Ellenville President's Challenge coordinator Courtney Vandermark presented students with certificates and keepsake keys to remind them of their path forward. Thank you to SUNY Ulster representatives for joining us to celebrate these promising students.
The President's Challenge Scholarship Program helps first-generation college students overcome financial barriers while providing vital support throughout high school. We're proud of these students and excited to watch them grow!
