STEAM class - engineering race cars

In Lainie Pfeffer-Burns' STEAM class, students are putting physics and engineering principles to work as they build their own Kre8 Electric Racers! The young engineers are mastering mechanical concepts while connecting electric motors and designing adjustable steering systems.

This hands-on project combines electrical engineering with mechanical design. Students are wiring and installing electric motors to power their racers, creating rubber band mechanisms for speed control, and engineering adjustable steering systems for the front wheels.

Real-world STEAM learning in action!
